Tunisia Banque de l'Algerie 1000; 500 Francs ND (1946-54) Pick 26s; 28s Two Specimen PMG Extremely Fine 40; About Uncirculated 55. The full layout vignettes and vibrant colors provide excellent eye appeal on this pair of Specimen from Tunisia's 1946 and 1950 issue. The 1000 Francs is a grandly sized note which features solid zero serial numbers, date, and red SPECIMEN stamps, with pencil notations and a small margin tear noted. The 500 Francs features the Greek bronze statue of victory on the face, and the Cyclops forging Jupiter's thunderbolts mosaic from the Roman city of Dougga on the back.
