OBVERSE: Ian Rank-Broadley's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, and the edge of the coins reads SHOULD AULD ACQUAINTANCE BE FORGOT. REVERSE: Written the quote "WE'LL TAK A CUP OF KINDNESS YET, FOR AULD LANG SYNE" from Burns' poem (later adapted as a folk song) 'Auld Lang Syne'. The coin comes encapsulated, cased and certificate and has had light handling.
