A note from BCD: This writer remembers the surprise in the curator's eyes when he replied that he did not wish to view the Lucien de Hirsch collection but only the other Greek coins of the Brussels cabinet. That was in the late 60's and the reason given was that he owned this catalogue. In retrospect, it was a mistake. The coins are spectacular and should not be missed by anyone visiting Brussels.
