A note from BCD: A little known or, to be more precise, practically unknown offering of superb rarities issued just before WWII. A rarity in itself, this list can be dated by referring to a die study that includes one of the coins pictured in it. To paraphrase an expression used nowadays for food in restaurants: "Greek coins to die for".
