J S D Coins. Santa Ana, CA. Group of 21 fixed price lists n.d. [1977-1986]. Plus 2 mail bid sales: 6. 27 May 1978 (293+29n, 7 pp) and 10 August 1981 (197+9n, 4 pp). Original printed brochures (14x21.5cm), each list with at least 1 plate, usually 4 or 5 plates, and many with feature page of historical interest. Some with outside mailing cover (from which postmarks help date the lists). Good to Very Good.
A note from BCD: A substantial run of hard to find lists issued by a pair of unusual – to say the least – individuals. And yet the coins are carefully chosen and priced with the budget collector in mind. The occasional rarity is duly noted and neatly described. A few pleasant surprises may be in store for someone researching provenances of, mostly Roman, collector type coins.
