A note from BCD: A very unusual collection in the sense that many interesting Roman Provincial issues are interspersed amongst the Roman Republican coins that dominate the contents of this catalogue. Either the collector traveled through Greece and the Middle East, or Naples was a hub of coin dealers around the middle of the 19th century.
