GREAT MONGOLS: Möngke, 1251-1260, AV broad dinar (5.15g), Dihistan, ND, A-V1977, obverse text möngkâ qa'an / al-'adil / al-a'zam, mint both below obverse field (clearly legible) and in obverse margin (partly legible), with Qur'an 9:33 in reverse margin, considerable weakness (as usual), very crude VF to EF, RRR, ex. Tony Ettinger collection. Dihistan was located in western Khorasan, now in Turkmenistan, just north of the Iranian border.
