GREAT MONGOLS: Möngke, 1251-1260, AR tirham (1.41g) (Imil), AH658, A-S1979, Zeno-78610 (this piece), double trident tamgha, the date appears in words in the obverse margin, confirmed by the three dots above the first letter of thamân for "8", followed by clear khamsin for "50", with the mint name almost entirely off flan, but confirmed by the type & design, pierced, apparently unique, teh first example to confirm that this type was struck before 661-662, VF, RRR. The double-trident was the tamgha of the great Mongol Möngke, who died in AH657, and was retained at Imil and Pulad until 662 for unknown reasons.
