ILKHAN: Ghazan Mahmud, 1295-1304, AR double dirham (4.33g), Rustamdar, A-2172, the date is 7xx, with the day of the 10th of the month Muharram, probably 700, unpublished mint, and the first reported example of this mint for any dynasty, not just the Ilkhans, EF, RRR. Rustamdar was located in the hills south of the Caspian, along the Shahroud River, just west of the region of Ruyan. Its chief city was also called Rustamdar.
