ATTICA. Athens. Circa 454-415 BC. Silver tetradrachm (17.21 gm). Head of Athena right, in crested Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves above visor, spiral palmette on bowl, wearing earring with central boss and beaded necklace / ΑΘΕ, owl standing right, head facing, olive sprig and crescent moon behind, all in square incuse. SNG Copenhagen 31ff. A magnificent specimen struck on a broad flan and in high relief. Minor striking splits. Toned. Extremely fine
