British India, King George V, Uniface 5 Rupees, Initial 'A' for Cawnpore Circle, Unsigned (Sea Sunk), Dated 2 February 1915, Red Underprint, DC Prefix, S. No. DC6 18530, (KJ & RR # 2A.1.4 H.3), folds, stains, small edge and internal splits, graded by PCGS as 25 Very Fine Apparent, Exceedingly Rare.

Note: These banknotes were printed in England and sent to India by sea. During World War I, July 1918, S.S. Shirala was sunk by the torpedoes from a German Submarine in the English Channel. This ship was carrying unsigned Uniface banknotes of King George V of 10 Rupees and 5 Rupees. Some of these notes were salvaged and there is a possibility that many others could have been washed ashore. Notes of this type are still difficult to find.
