Charles II (1660-1685), Two-Guineas, 1682, 'large 2', second laureate head right, rounded truncation, rev. no stop after HIB, crowned shields cruciform, emblem-adorned sceptres in angles, edge obliquely milled, 16.76g, 6h (Murdoch II, 525 ~ 'this date unpublished'; King - [cf. 111]; MCE 46; Schneider II, 435/436; Spink 3335), attractive ochre-red tone seeping into lustrous fields, good very fine, rare.
