George II (1727-1760), Two-Guineas, 1738, first younger laureate head left, stop above head, spaced DEI, A of GRATIA over hair curl, rev. crowned garnished shield with rounded arches, edge obliquely milled, 16.72g, 6h (Murdoch III, 43; Douglas-Morris 59, same dies; King - [cf. 172]; Schneider II, 569, dies 3/3; MCE 291; Spink 3667B), some rim stipling, otherwise lustrous with a hint of tone, good very fine, a rare die variety.
