(g) George III (1760-1820), Third-Guinea, 1811, second laureate head right, rev. crown, date below, edge obliquely milled, 2.80g, 12h (Murdoch III -; Selig -; Schneider II, ?; MCE 461; Spink 3740), a superb example of the key date of series, quite brilliantly lustrous with a hint of tone, extremely fine and equally rare.
