Charles II (1660-1685), Guinea, 1664, second laureate head right, ties to R of CAROLVS, pointed truncation, rev. crowned shields cruciform, emblem-adorned sceptres in angles, edge straight milled, 8.35g, 6h (Murdoch II, 530; King -; Schneider II, 439; MCE 54; Spink 3340), some field disturbance and possibly once wiped, otherwise lustrous and struck up for issue, a handsome coin, good very fine, very rare and seldom offered at auction.
