William III (1694-1702), Guinea, 1701, second laureate head right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, narrow crowns, date letters not touching, plain emblem-adorned sceptres in angles, edge obliquely milled, 8.36g, 5h (Murdoch II, 783[b]; King -; Schneider II, 511, same reverse die; MCE 186; Spink 3463), orange toning to central devices otherwise quite brilliant with flashy recesses, a lovely example, extremely fine.
