George II (1727-1760), Guinea, 1727, smaller flan type, 'large lettering', second young laureate head left, rev. smaller crowned garnished shield, edge obliquely milled, 8.36g, 6h (Murdoch III, -; Douglas-Morris 43; King -; Schneider II, 583; MCE 298; Spink 3671), a trace of light cleaning in fields and a faint scuff to rim, otherwise a handsome coin with much residual brilliance in recesses, about extremely fine, extremely rare.
