ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29.5mm, 16.84 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Phanokles, Apollonios, and Bakchios, magistrates. Struck 111/10 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora inscribed Δ; in right field, Artemis Phosphoros standing facing, holding torch with both hands; ME below; all within wreath. Thompson 701d (same obv. die); HGC 4, 1602; SNG Copenhagen 160 (same obv. die). Lightly toned, slight die wear on obverse. Good VF.
