PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy II Philadelphos. 285-246 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25.5mm, 14.31 g, 12h). Tyre mint. Undated issue, struck circa 274 BC. Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis around neck / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; to left, club surmounted by Tyre monogram. CPE 561; Svoronos 644; SNG Copenhagen 482–3. A few light scratches, trace deposits, slight die wear on obverse, area of flat strike on reverse. EF.
