EGYPT, Alexandria. Tiberius. AD 14-37. Æ Obol (20mm, 5.03 g, 12h). Dated RY 5 (AD 18/19). Bare head right / TIBEPIOY, hippopotamus standing right; L E (date) in exergue. Köln 47; Dattari (Savio) 101; K&G 5.5; RPC I 5082; Emmett 62.5 corr. (hippopotamus standing right). Dark brown patina with traces of green and red, a couple light scratches. Near VF. Scarce.

From the Stein A. Evensen Collection. Ex Pegasi XXII (20 April 2010), lot 323 (where it is stated ex Dattari collection, but this coin does not match any of the examples illustrated in the Savio plates).
