SICILY, Katane. Circa 450-445 BC. Fourrée Tetradrachm (26mm, 15.42 g, 12h). Charioteer, holding goad and reins, driving slow quadriga right / Laureate head of Apollo right. For prototype, cf. HGC 2, 566. Patchy tone, flan crack, metal flaws, core visible at split on edge. VF.
