Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Antoninianus (23mm, 4.53 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck AD 215-217. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Venus Victrix standing left, holding helmet and scepter, and leaning on shield set on captive; seated captive on either side. RIC IV 312c; RSC 612b. Attractive golden tone, slightly granular surfaces. Good VF. A wonderful coin in hand.
