LANCASTER. Henry VI. First reign, 1422-1461. AR Groat (26mm, 3.79 g, 8h). Pinecone-mascle issue. Calais mint; im: cross patonce/plain cross. Struck 1431-1432/3. Crowned facing bust within tressure of arches; lis at cusps / Long cross pattée; triple pellets in quarters. North 1461; SCBC 1875. Toned, slightly porous. VF. Interesting variety with the triple pellets in the second quarter punched twice.
