Given by the campus of the University of Paris to the Swiss Foundation, November 14th, 1931. Hallmark "cornucopiae" and BRONZE on the edge. This medal commemorates the cornerstone ceremony of the "Swiss Foundation" in the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris. This building was erected as a student residence by the architects Le Corbusier and P. Jeanneret between 1931 and 1933. It gave the opportunity to Le Corbusier to test his theories on multi-family residencies and apply his concept of "unité d'habitation".
