GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Dollar, 1911-B. Bombay Mint. PCGS MS-64 Gold Shield.
KM-T5; Mars-BTD1; Prid-21. An attractive and well struck example with frosty devices and lovely satin luster. Upon close inspection reveals several interesting die cracks on both sides. The obverse displays two thin parallel cracks most noticeable at 12 in the field around Britannia's helmet. While the reverse exhibits several long curved cracks and several short straight cracks most evident at 6 just below the base of the character. A fascinating survivor with quite a few diagnostics for this set of dies sure to catch the attention of the specialist.
Estimate: $700.00- $1000.00
