CHINA. Zhou Dynasty. Warring States Period. State of Qi. Three Character Knife Money, ND (ca. 400-220 B.C.). VERY FINE.
Hartill-4.6l; DCD-397; FD-351; S-45. "Qi Fa Hua" (Qi legal money) in seal script; Reverse: "Tu" or "Shi". A decently preserved example displaying attractive mottled brown and green patina with minor earthen deposits near the edges. The reverse shows signs of being cleaned long ago, now nicely toned mentioned for accuracy. Overall a handsome representative of the type sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.

Estimate: $900.00- $1200.00
