(t) CHINA. Qing (Ch'ing) Dynasty. Fujian. 20 Cash, ND (ca. 1853-55). Fuzhou Mint. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). Graded "78" Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-22.781; FD-2517. Weight: 29.7 gms. Type 2. Obverse: "Xian Feng tong bao"; Reverse: "Er shi" (Twenty [Cash]). A wholesome and original looking example displaying rich brown patina with minor earthen deposits amongst the devices. One small chopmark is noticed on the obverse rim mentioned for accuracy, though hardly distracting and adding to it originality. A handsome survivor with a nice look sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
