BMC-Class XL Group F. Weight: 402.1 gms. "Yang Ren He" (Yangrenhe bank). A handsome example with nice surfaces displaying attractive light gray tone with luster. The stamp is slightly uneven with missing portions of the characters, but is still readable. Minor earthen deposits in the crevasses on the reverse adds to its originality and overall eye appeal sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters. While this type of sycee emanates from the Szechuan province, Zhong Qian Ping Ji has attributed it to Kweichow, a neighboring province, presumably because of the bank that stamped it, which must have been located there.
