(t) CHINA. Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding. Provincial Three Stamp Remittance Ingots. Silver 4.75 Tael Bank Ingot, ND. Graded "AU" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
cf. BMC-Class LXVI Group I # 896. Weight: 171 gms. "Cao Bao Ju Hao Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Caobaoju bank, remittance bank fine silver). Right stamp "Guan Gong Gu Tong She Kan" (Inspected by official public assayers Tong and She). Left stamp "Guan Gong Gu Zhou Chen Kan" (Inspected by official public assayers Zhou and Chen). A nice and wholesome example exhibiting bold outer stamps with clear characters while the central stamp is somewhat weak as commonly encountered on these prolific ingots. The Assayers stamps, though a bit flat display nearly full and complete characters for easy identification. Minor earthen deposits are seen in the protected areas and crevasses noted for accuracy. A handsome example of the type with lots of character certain to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
