(t) CHINA. Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding. Provincial Three Stamp Remittance Ingots. Silver 4.5 Tael Bank Ingot, ND. Graded "Genuine" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
cf. BMC-Class LXVI Group I # 890. Weight: 163.7 gms. "Chen Hong Jun Hao Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Chenhongjun bank, remittance bank fine silver). Left Stamp "Guan Gong Gu Tong Yu Kan" (Inspected by official public assayers Tong and Yu). Right Stamp "Guan Gong Gu Zhou Chen Kan" (Inspected by official public assayers Zhou and Chen). The outer and central stamps are deeply impressed with clear characters, though the central stamp does have a bit a weakness as is commonly found on these types. The two assayers stamps are slightly uneven with small portions of the characters missing, but still easily identifiable. A small portion of the left wing tip seems to have been cut, somewhat reducing the weight mentioned for accuracy, but hardly distracting. A richly toned example with minor earthen deposits in the protected areas and crevasses offering much originality that's pleasing to the eye.
Estimate: $700.00- $1000.00
