CHINA. Kiangnan. Silver 1 Mace 4.4 Candareens (20 Cents) Pattern, ND (1897). Heaton Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-67+ Gold Shield.
L&M-212b; K-72d; KM-Y-143; WS-0790. One of the more majestic and exceptionally produced coins in the early Chinese series, this minor was struck by the Heaton mint as is evident by its robust style and fabric. INCREDIBLY RARE in this immaculate state of preservation, and by far the finer of just two seen at PCGS (the other merely attaining SPECIMEN-64). While the surfaces are mostly steely gray, the peripheries yield to an intense melange of champagne and magenta. A truly exceptional example with amazing eye appeal and well worthy of any highly advanced collection.

Estimate: $40000.00- $50000.00
