Group includes mint sets in the official mint bureau folders from the years 1971 (5 Pieces), 1977 (6 Pieces), 1979-81 (6 Pieces each), and 1983 (7 Pieces). The sets 1971-81 are 1-100 Yen, and the 1983 set is 1-500 Yen. The sets dated 1977-83 all contain a hexagonal piece with a lunar calendar motif. A few of the sets exhibit PVC contamination and should be inspected prior to bidding.
