(t) CHINA. Xin Dynasty. Group of Flat Handled Spade Money (13 Pieces), ND (7-23 A. D.). Wang Mang. Grade Range: VERY GOOD to VERY FINE.
An interesting gathering all with varying degrees of green and brown patina with minor earthen deposits. Close personal inspection is advised and will reward the diligent bidder. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS.

1-8) H-9.30; Jen-90; FD-486. "Huo Bu". All with plain reverse, except one with obverse symbols repeated (H-9.31).

9-12) H-9.29; Jen-85; FD-485. "Da Bu Huang Qian"; Reverse: plain.

13) Wooden decorative piece in shape of Flat Handled Spade Money, with finely engraved scene on obverse, some writing on reverse, and deeply incised symbols on the foot and top, presumably used as ink stamps.
