Maximianus. Second reign, A.D. 307-308. BI follis (28 mm, 7.23 g, 6 h). Trier Mint, Struck summer, A.D. 307. IMP MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximian right / GENIO POP ROM, Genius,,modius on head, standing facing, head left; loins draped; holding patera and cornucopia; S - A // PTR . Cf. RIC VI 721-723 or 738. VF, slightly rough obverse, slightly weakly-struck reverse; attractive even tan patina. Not in RIC. Rare. RIC does not list this combination of obverse legend and reverse details for folles, only for half-folles (eg: 738). This piece is definitely of follis module (eg: 721-723) in both diameter and weight.
