A fine Cocle pedestal plate from Panama, Ca. 600 - 800 A.D. This lovely Conte style example is 4-1/4" in diameter and is decorated with matching C-Y scroll designs with claw elements on the bisected top. It retains good paint and nice mineral deposits. Value range: $200 - $400.
