A pair of Graeco-Roman ceramic vessels. The first is an Iron Age jar, Ca. 1000 - 800 B.C. The body round with raised disk base, the rim lightly flared, traces of red slip. (H: 4 ??, 11.7 cm). The second is a Greek wide-mouthed jar, Ca. 3rd - 2nd Century BC, thrown in a cr?me colored clay with narrow foot and single handle, the upper two-thirds of the vessel dipped in black slip. H: 5 in. (12.7 cm). Both with minor rim chipping and deposits. Ex J. Rilling Collection, Orange County, Ca. Est. Value $200 - $250.
