A pair of Near Eastern stamp seals. Lot includes a Sumerian marble conoid stamp seal, Jemdat Nasr, Ca. 3200 - 2900 B.C. With a rosette design formed by drilling. Dia: 22mm. The second a ceramic stamp seal with cruciform device, Western Iran, Ca. 3000 - 2500 BC, the back somewhat domes with piercing for suspension. 21 x 21 x 16mm. Light surface deposits. Cf.
