Offered is a magnificent ancient gray schist Gandharan figure statue belonging to the Kushan period, 2nd to 3rd century AD, depicting in finest detail the bust of a prince or young king, possibly a Bodhisattva, dressed in a flowing sanxhati robe with the drapery falling in multiple elegant folds, decorated with a torc and beaded necklace, a beaded headdress, standing tall on a black sturdy metal pedestal, situated on a custom made black wood base.
