Post Guptas, Samatata Region, Sridharanarata (664-675 AD), Gold Dinar, Obv: a stylized representation of the king, nimbate, holding a bow and arrow on either hand, a standard in field left with forked finial, letter 'Shri' in upper field left & another 'Shri' in Brahmi below the right arm of king and legend "Shridhara" between the legs, Rev: the goddess Lakshmi standing right, holding an object in her hand, an illegible inscription in the right field, 5.6g, 19.39mm, about extremely fine, Very Rare.
Note: This coin's obverse shows the standard being held by the king, making it unique when compared to other specimens listed in important Reference Catalogues.
