KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 14.32 g, 1 h), Pella, circa 348/7-343/2. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Young jockey, holding palm frond in his right hand and reins in his left, riding horse to right. Le Rider 171 (D103/R138). A lovely piece of monumental style. Minor flan flaw on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
