MYSIA. Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophorus (Silver, 28 mm, 12.55 g, 12 h), circa 95-92. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; between the snake heads, AM; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡΓ; to right, thyrsos entwined by a serpent. Kleiner 3. SNG Paris 1725. Nicely toned and struck on a broad flan. The obverse a bit weak as usual, otherwise, about extremely fine.
