IONIA. Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Circa 155-145 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 33 mm, 16.91 g, 1 h), Attic standard. Euphemos, son of Pausanios, magistrate. Diademed and draped bust of Artemis to right, with bow and quiver at her shoulder. Rev. MAΓNHTΩN - EYΦHMOΣ / ΠAYΣANIOY Apollo standing left on maeander pattern, holding filleted laurel branch in his lowered right hand and leaning his left elbow on a tall tripod behind him; all within laurel wreath. Jones 17c (same dies). SNG Copenhagen 844. Bright and very well centered. Extremely fine.
