DYNASTS OF LYCIA. Amm... (?), circa 480-460 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 9.39 g, 9 h). Lion seated to left, head facing and right foreleg raised. Rev. Forepart of Pegasos to right; all within incuse square. Müseler III, 25 (same dies). Traite II, 240 and pl. XCV, 21. Very rare. A charming coin of particularly attractive Archaic style. The obverse a bit weak, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
