GAUL. Massalia. Circa 450-410 BC. Obol (Silver, 11 mm, 0.90 g, 12 h). Male head with long hair to right, wearing helmet adorned with wheel of four spokes on the bowl. Rev. Wheel of three spokes with M-A-T in angles. LT -. Maurel 253. Beautifully toned and very attractive. Minor die breaks on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
