Nude ithyphallic satyr, with long beard and long hair, moving right in 'running-kneeling' position, holding a nymph in his arms, who raises her right hand in protest. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. BMFA 851. SNG Copenhagen 1009. Svoronos, HPM, pl. X, 8. Beautifully toned and of lovely Archaic style. The obverse struck from a slightly worn die, otherwise, about extremely fine.
