Draped bust of Artemis to right, wearing stephane and pearl necklace and with her bow and quiver over her shoulder. Rev. ABYΔHN-ΩN / ΠAPMЄNICKOY Eagle standing right with wings spread; to right, horseman to right; all within laurel wreath. BMC -. Callataÿ, Abydos, D13/R11. SNG Copenhagen -. SNG von Aulock -. Extremely rare, the finest of perhaps just two known examples (the Berlin coin being broken and glued). An attractive piece struck on a very broad flan. Thin flan crack and the reverse somewhat double struck, otherwise, good very fine.
