KINGS OF ELYMAIS. Kamnaskires III, with Anzaze, circa 82/1-73/2 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 14.15 g, 12 h), Seleukeia on the Hedyphon. Conjoined and draped busts of Kamnaskires III, diademed, and Anzaze, wearing stephane, to left; behind, monogram above anchor symbol. Rev. BΛCIΛEΩC - KΛMNΛCKIPOY - KΛI BΛCIΛICC[HC] - ΛNZΛZH Zeus-Belos seated left, holding Nike in his right hand and scepter in his left; in exergue, date (here off flan). Alram 454. Van't Haaff Type 7.1.1-6. Sunrise 470. A bright and fresh example, very sharply struck. The obverse slightly brushed, otherwise, good extremely fine.
