ΒΑCIΛЄΥC OOHMO KAΔΦΙCHC ('King Vima Kadphises' in Greek) Crowned and draped bust of Vima Kadphises emerging from clouds or a mountain top to right with flames on his left shoulder, holding club in his right hand; in field to upper left, tamgha. Rev. Maharajasa Rajadirajasa Sarvaloga Isvarasa Mahisvarasa Vima Kathphishasa Tratara ('of the Great King, the King of Kings, Lord of All the World, the Mahesvara, Vima Kadphises, the Defender' in Kharoshti) Ithyphallic Shiva standing front, head to left, holding trident in his right hand and deerskin in his left; in field to left, tamgha; in field to right, the triratana symbol ('Three Jewels'). Göbl, type 19. Well struck and clear. Light marks in the right obverse field, otherwise, about extremely fine.
