DO Seals III, 53.3. Laurent, Corpus V/1, 350. Zacos 446. Very well preserved and with an exceptional portrait of St. Demetrios. Good extremely fine.


Our Demetrios, the bishop of Kyzikos, may well be the addressee of a letter by patriarch Nikolaos I Mystikos (912-925) containing advice on how to approach some disobedient clerics in his diocese.
