In inner field, 'lillah / al-Muttaqi / lillah' ('for God, al-Muttaqi, for God' in Kufic); in outer margin, 'la ilaha illa Allah Muhammad Rasul Allah ('There is no God but God, Muhammad is the Prophet of God' in Kufic). Rev. In inner field, 'billah / al-Ikhshidid / nasir' ('in God / al-Ikhshidid / victory' in Kufic); in outer margin, 'bismallah duriba sanat ithnayn wa thalathin wa thalath mi'a' ('in the name of God was struck in the year two and thirty and three hundred' in Kufic).
